Its been a long time, true. But being a full time working mom of a large family does take time! The truth is I didn't think anyone checked my blog since everyone seemed to FB. But someone told me they were checking to see if I had my baby....sorry:( Yes, we did welcome our 7th and final child to our family. JonPierre Williams Duquette was born on April 30th after and emergency induced labor of 16 hours and finally a c-section! I am proud to say my first AND last c-section!!!! JonPierre is a funny, very happy, little guy (4 1/2 months old and 10 1/2 pds)! He always has a smile and much of the time is full of laughter.
As happy as life is... and very full, we do carry a large deep hole in our lives. On Febraury 1, 2010 my beautiful mother went to heaven in her sleep. It was sudden, unexpected and the most pain I have ever felt and still feel. I never thought I would have a child without my mother. She rose above hardship and gave us love. She ALWAYS helped people, even strangers, even when she was in need herself. I miss her and cry out for God to give her back....even just for a moment. I miss you mommy!!!!!
The kids are busy having fun and being kids. Tom is a senior at Oak Hill, Tiffany a senior here, Delaine, Dominique, and Samara are homeschooled, Kathryn & JonPierre and just being babies:) Tiffany is busy with soccer and looking for colleges and Tom has joined the Army and leaves right after high school.
Jesse and I both work. We have a great church and I am attending MOPS. We are still busy with missions. Jesse, Tom, And Tiffany went to Honduras this past April. Tom & Tiffany will go again most likely over spring break.
Well, thats a year in a nutshell. Talk to me if you'd like to keep in touch.
